A bright red and cloths are seen but it will go from pink to brown then to a yellow-white substance. The bleeding could last from 3 weeks to six weeks.

Changing the pads for every two hours and during the following weeks make the interval three to four hours.
When is there a need to call the doctor or midwife?
If these symptoms happen, then you should immediately call them.
1. You experience chills or fever.
2. There is an unpleasant smell or a liquid body.
3. The color stays bright red.
4. The tummy felt low on the side and down.
Call the Ambulance if:
1. If the pad gets heavy or soaked in less than an hour.2. If the bleeding is still bright ready for continuous 4 days after giving birth.
3. If large blood clots are bigger than 50p piece.
4. Dizzier and feeling faint.
